Matthew 12

39 But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation looks for a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah:

39 Jesus answered, “Evil and sinful people are the ones who want to see a miracle as a sign. But no miracle will be done to prove anything to them. The only sign will be the miracle that happened to the prophet Jonah.[6]
