Genesis 6

4 The Nephilim appeared on earth in those days, as well as later, [3] after the sons of God had intercourse with the daughters of human beings, who bore them sons. They were the heroes of old, the men of renown. [AB]

4 In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings. They were the great heroes and famous men of long ago.

4 The children of the supernatural beings who had married these women became famous heroes and warriors. They were called Nephilim and lived on the earth at that time and even later.
